The Orange County Convention Center started 2017 off with a bang – an increase in the number of attendees during the first quarter of the year over 2016 attendance figures.
A total of 423,397 attendees came to the OCCC in January, February and March, a 1.5 percent increase over the same timeframe of 2016. We hosted 32 events in the first quarter, including repeat clients like the PGA Merchandise Show in January and the Global Pet Expo in March.
For the first time ever, the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show and the International Builders’ Show aligned their conferences to co-habitat in our North/South Concourse. The joint shows’ attendance came in at a whopping 79,512 people, accounting for about 48 percent of January’s total attendance figures.
