Directions to the Orange County Convention Center

When traveling to the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), we want to make sure that getting here is the least of your concerns. The Convention Center is only minutes from the Orlando International Airport and within easy walking and driving distance of world-class dining, shopping and entertainment options.

There are more than 23,000 on-site and off-site parking spaces within the district and nearly 10,000 hotel rooms within walking distance of the Center. The connecting hotels are just steps away with adjoining pedestrian bridges to get you from your hotel to your event. The OCCC does not control or schedule the availability of Pedicabs on property. Pedicab operators are independent and primarily work events with heavy pedestrian’s foot traffic. In addition to the four cited taxi operators, OCCC has vetted 30 independently owned taxi companies to service the OCCC.

How ever you decide to travel to the convention district, we hope our accommodations help make your experience that much better.

Modes of Transportation, listed below.

The Center has integrated the unique demands of rideshare services, such as Lyft and Uber, into the transportation planning needs of events. As such, the OCCC has coordinated with service providers to establish drop-off and pick-up points for rideshare services and set geofences around the Convention Center campus for attendees. Upon requesting a ride through Lyft or Uber, attendees will be directed to meet their driver at one of the three pick-up points based on where they are located on the campus, and in accordance with the map below. Each location is highly visible and indicated with banners and signage.

Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) West Building Rideshare locations

Numerous roads, including State Road 528 (Beachline) and Interstate 4 (I-4), surround the OCCC, providing guests convenient and direct routes to the Center.

The OCCC operates a number of LED message signs along International Drive, State Road 528, Universal and Westwood Boulevards and Convention Way. Programmed daily, the signs direct attendees to the closest available event parking.

The Center operates three parking lots. Parking rates vary upon vehicle size, entry time and event. Parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Center is now cashless and accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

At the discretion of show management, valet parking may also be available for your event.

Safety tip: Do not leave valuables in your car.

The location of taxi service varies by show. Typically, a taxi stand will be set up in the front of the building. Hours of operation will be posted by the show management.
