The award-winning Orange County Convention Center is the second largest convention facility in the United States. Each year the OCCC attracts more than 230 events to the Central Florida area. As a result, roughly 1.4 million attendees contribute approximately $2.4 billion to the area's economy each year.
The mission of the Orange County Convention Center is economic development. By hosting regional, national and international conventions, meetings and trade shows, the convention center infuses the local economy with new money and expanding business opportunities.
Prime Time (On Call) Positions
The Orange County Convention Center hires many candidates for Prime Time (On-call) positions that are filled on an as-needed basis.
Friendly, energetic people are needed for a variety of positions. Examples of on-call positions include:
- Set-up Workers
- Bus Drivers
- Security Relief
- Service Desk
- Dock Monitors
- Console Relief
- Administrative Relief
Interested applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a physical, drug and background screening. Those applying for a Bus Driver position must have a CDL license with a "P" endorsement.
