The mission of the Orange County Convention Center
(OCCC) Client Advisory Board (CAB) is to work
closely with the OCCC and Visit Orlando staff to enhance the
city-wide meeting and convention experience in
Orlando. This, in turn, supports the Center’s
mission of economic development through strategic
planning.
Initially, the Convention Center formed the Client Advisory Board in early 2000 to seek advice and input from its clients regarding the Phase V (North/South Building) expansion. The Board's role has expanded over the years to now include consultation on the advancement of all operations and services offered by the OCCC and not just Convention Center expansion issues. The Client Advisory Board meets annually for a multi-day forum hosted by the Orange County Convention Center in partnership with Visit Orlando and OCCC Gold Key and on-site Service Partners.
